pressure washer nozzle sizing

Learning to read a pressure washer nozzle chart will allow you to properly match the orifice size of the nozzle to the rated PSI and gallon per minute flow of your system.

When reading a pressure washer nozzle chart the orifice size is listed vertically on the far left. The PSI rating is listed on top horizontally left to right. Under each PSI rating the gallons per minute flow allowed by the orifice will be listed vertically. To match the nozzle orifice to your systems requirements begin by finding the PSI rating of your pump on top. Follow this column down until you find the gallons per minute rating of your pump. Now look all the way to the left and find the orifice size required by your system. This is all it takes to accurately read a pressure washer nozzle sizing chart.
